I don't think I have ever been this sad in my life. Spoon is playing. Here. In Sydney. This May. BUT ITS OVER 18 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so so so excited when I found out. I've been craving live music since Devendra Banhart (who, by the way, is utterly amazing!) and I was just Googling some bands that I kinda love, as you do in your spare time. I saw Spoon was playing, screamed, clicked on the website, and almost cried when I saw it was 18+. Maybe almost cried is an exageration, but I was incredibly sad ! They are rather amazing. I have to go and mourn the fact that I can't go see spoon cause I'm to bloody young, goddamit. Go get your cherry bomb ! I'll get mine, its the way we get by, isn't it? Ok, I'm off, I'll turn my camera on and get to the photo taking. Ciao !

p.s Spoon song names hidden in there? I think so!

these are a few of my favourite things

I haven't posted something for a while, but never mind. I'm in love. With about four hundred new bands. Yep, that's right. The big FOUR DOUBLE OH. No, I'm joking. That is one huge exaggeration. I'm only in love with 399. Aren't I a funny one, ha !
Ok, so I have rediscovered Spoon, The Shins, Band of Horses, The Hives and Cold War Kids, just to name a few. And, to make things even more better, I am slowly but surely turning my best friend into an indie music lover! She's all about the douge douge and rap and techno and stuff I can't really stand. Her current obsession: Kid CuDi. Her next obsession: The Shins!
I'm so so happy with her, listening to music that won't ruin you! I apologise to anyone that has ever read this (which they haven't so far) who in fact does like that kind of music and to any metal heads, but thats my opinion. It's imitation music. It's not even music. Mahler is music, The Beatles are music. Jason Derulo? Akon? Ke$ha? No, sorry. Not in my books. I admit to the fact that I do listen to them once in a while simply because I want to hear what everyone else is raving about, and songs like that have been made purposely to get stuck in your head so the only choice you have to rid yourself of incessant humming you find yourself doing. Is it really necessary?
Anyway, that's my rant for now. So long!

P.s I've come to the realization that I have many questions unanswered, so I've started a new blog. lostinteendom.blogspot.com, check it?
