Ok, so I have rediscovered Spoon, The Shins, Band of Horses, The Hives and Cold War Kids, just to name a few. And, to make things even more better, I am slowly but surely turning my best friend into an indie music lover! She's all about the douge douge and rap and techno and stuff I can't really stand. Her current obsession: Kid CuDi. Her next obsession: The Shins!
I'm so so happy with her, listening to music that won't ruin you! I apologise to anyone that has ever read this (which they haven't so far) who in fact does like that kind of music and to any metal heads, but thats my opinion. It's imitation music. It's not even music. Mahler is music, The Beatles are music. Jason Derulo? Akon? Ke$ha? No, sorry. Not in my books. I admit to the fact that I do listen to them once in a while simply because I want to hear what everyone else is raving about, and songs like that have been made purposely to get stuck in your head so the only choice you have to rid yourself of incessant humming you find yourself doing. Is it really necessary?
Anyway, that's my rant for now. So long!
P.s I've come to the realization that I have many questions unanswered, so I've started a new blog. lostinteendom.blogspot.com, check it?
